ClLIENT INSTALL:

You need to be connected as root from the server

Solaris Install: /usr/openv/netbackup/client/Solaris/Solaris10/ssh_to_client <fqdn_server_name>

Linux 64bit Install: /usr/openv/netbackup/client/Linux/RedHat2.6.18/ssh_to_client <fqdn_server_name>

Linux 32bit Install: /usr/openv/netbackup/client/Linux/RedHat2.6x86/ssh_to_client <fqdn_server_name>
(Make sure that /usr/openv/NB-Java.tar.Z is present on the master server.)

Debian 64bit Install: /usr/openv/netbackup/client/Linux/Debian2.6.18/ssh_to_client <fqdn_server_name>

Install client on a group server from the master server.
To install the client on a group of server from the master server you must first generate a list of servers using the following command:
 
root@serverHost ~ # /usr/openv/netbackup/bin/admincmd/bpplclients -allunique -noheader | grep -v Windows | grep -v NDMP >> /tmp/server_list.txt
 
Once the server list is created then you can push client updates to all of the servers in the list from the master server:
 
/usr/openv/netbackup/bin/update_clients -ForceInstall -ClientList /tmp/server_list.txt
